About Savusavu

Savusavu has only one main street that is a hub of activity for the southeastern portion of Vanua Levu. Savusavu’s geothermal hot springs. Many local women use the bubbling springs for cooking and an afternoon visit is worthwhile to see the pots of root crops steaming atop the springs. The main street has a number of stores including supermarket, hardware, several grocery, house ware & appliance stores.

There are a number of resorts, hotels, guest cottages and home rentals available to suit every budget. There are also a number of providers for scuba diving, sailing trips, cultural tours, sport fishing, snorkeling & kayaking. Which makes Savusavu a definite place to visit for the active traveller.
